Thar children had died in past but no one took notice
THARPARKAR: Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah stated in complaining tone that children had died in, famine-hit, Thar district in past but no one took notice at that time.
Death toll continuously increasing amonst children due to malnutrition day by day as nine more innocent kids lost their lives today, pushing up the total tally to 100, TheNewsTribe reported on Tuesday.
However, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah’s unique statement surprised nationals once again just like its statements delivered in past.
Shah said that the Sindh government was continuously providing free flour to the poor locals of Thar district despite the facts and figure about hundreds of complains by the residents about political interference being made by lords of different areas.
Earlier, CM Sindh insisted that deaths of children being reported are largely on account of maternity related complications but not of hunger or food.
